Where is Poway Valley Collision located?

Our address is 14211 Garden Road, Poway California, 92064.

What are Poway Valley Collision’s hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed Saturday Sunday. We are also closed on holidays including Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Please check our home page for any applicable holiday hours.

What is Poway Valley Collision’s contact information?

Do I have to make an appointment?

You do not need to make an appointment. We welcome walk-ins! But depending on how busy we are at your arrival, you may have to wait to be helped. If you would like to make an appointment, you can schedule an appointment here.

Does it cost money to make an appointment or receive an estimate?

Never! We do not and have not charged for appointments or estimates ever.

Can you write me an estimate as a walk-in?

Absolutely! All walk-ins are welcome and are helped on a first come, first serve basis.

Can you give me a rough estimate cost on the damage I describe over the phone?

Unfortunately, we cannot ballpark any damage that is described to us over the phone. We also cannot estimate a common repair such as a bumper repair or replacement. All estimates will depend on a number of different factors and we will have to be looking at the vehicle to give you the best estimate possible.

What certifications does Poway Valley Collision have?

We are i-car Gold Certified. Additionally we are currently Subaru Certified, Mazda Certified, and General Motors Certified with more certifications in the works.

Insurance

Do you work with all insurance companies?

Absolutely! We work with all insurance companies.

What insurance companies do you have a direct repair program (DRP) with?

We currently have DRPs with AAA and Wawanesa.

Can I get repairs done without using insurance?

Yes you can get auto repairs done without using your insurance. To do so, when you come in just let your estimator know that you will be paying out of pocket.

Can I use my insurance for glass repair?

Yes, you can use your insurance for glass repair on your vehicle.

I already have an estimate from my insurance company. Do I need to get more estimates?

Nope! Just present the estimate from your insurance company and we will start with that. The initial estimate itemizes what the insurance company is going to pay for. We will work with your insurance to ensure that you are compensated for everything needed to restore your vehicle to its pre-loss condition.

Repairs

I just got into an accident. What do I do now?

You can read our article about what to do after an accident. But for the purposes of bringing your car in for an estimate and repairs, please first contact your insurance company to open a claim. Depending on the insurance coverage, they may write an estimate for you or send you to Poway Valley Collision for the estimate. You are more than welcome to call us at (858) 679-7476 to schedule an appointment, schedule online, or stop by during our operating hours of Mon – Fri between 8:00am – 5:00pm to get an estimate as a walk-in.

Can you match the color of my paint?

Yes we can! Rest assured that your repairs and any necessary paint job done on your car will leave your vehicle leaving here like brand new.

Does Poway Valley Collision do glass repair or replacement?

Yes we can do glass repair or glass replacement, either with or without insurance.

Can someone come to me for glass replacements?

Yes we can! Please call us ahead of time to set up an appointment. From there our vendor can go directly to you.

Can Poway Valley Collision repair my Tesla?

We are not currently a certified Tesla repair shop so unfortunately we cannot repair any Tesla vehicles.

Do you do tune-ups?

No we do not do tune-ups at Poway Valley Collection.

About My Vehicle

Why did my estimate change?

When our estimators write your estimate, they are basing the damage on what they can see at the time of the assessment. Once our technicians can remove items that are in the way or possibly covering other damage is when we get a better idea of the extent of damage. In other words, the estimate is our best guess based on what we can see before we can take the car apart. You can read more about this here.

How long will it take to fix my vehicle?

Repair times are based on multiple factors, including but not limited to:
– type of repair
– extent of damage
– availability of parts
– current facility workload
– holidays and weekends
– year, make, and model of the vehicle, etc

Poway Valley Collision can only give you an approximate repair time. We do our best to anticipate any unforeseen occurrences and will keep you in the loop as to any delays that may arise.

What is your guarantee on my repairs?

Poway Valley Collision guarantees our repairs for as long as you own your vehicle.

How can I get a rental car?

If you or the insured party has rental car coverage, then your rental car will be covered. Although Poway Valley Collision does not personally offer any rental cars, you still have options. You are more than welcome to choose whichever rental company that you prefer, however we recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car since they will come to Poway Valley Collision directly to pick you up.
